About Us

Our Roots

Celebration Lutheran Church officially organized as a mission congregation of the Lutheran Church in America (LCA) in 1984, and became part of the merger that formed the current Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). The congregation serves East Wenatchee, Washington, and the greater Wenatchee Valley, a growing community of over 100,000 in central Washington State.

Our Purpose and Future

Seeking God’s direction, we are committed to fostering an authentic sense of grace where people can respond faithfully to God’s love through Jesus Christ.

Our purpose is to make known the Good News of God’s love in Christ through word and deed.  Our guiding principles:

  • Affirm our baptism and share in the Lord’s supper
  • Hear, study, and proclaim the Word of God
  • Be a praying community
  • Invite and welcome everyone
  • Strive for justice and peace
  • Serve God’s creation, following the example of Jesus
